Reservations

Reservations made by phone are the fastest way for you to secure a space for your friend while you are away and clearly the best approach around any holiday or busy travel season.  We offer on-line reservations for those who are working late, traveling during “off seasons” or are planning far in advance.  Click the reservation link below and follow the instructions.  We will reserve your spot and confirm via phone and return e-mail. Requirements you need to know.

 

Health:

Most importantly, we only board pets that are currently vaccinated and asymptomatic of contagious diseases.  You must have proof of current vaccinations for Rabies (New Mexico statute), Parvo-virus and Canine Distemper.  We recommend, but do not require, vaccination for Bordetella bronchiseptica a.k.a. Kennel Cough (for further details on Kennel Cough please read the article on our Health Info page).  The first time you drop your friend off bring your proof of vaccination and dates along; we will copy the pertinent information to our records.

 

Daily needs:

You are welcome to bring the food you feed at home, bedding, toys or “chewys”.   We will do our best to see that unused portions and all durable items return home with you.  However, we assume no responsibility for loss, damage or failure to collect items at pick-up.

 

Medical conditions:

Some of our guests have pre-existing and on-going medical conditions that require maintenance or therapeutic  medication.  We will happily see that these routines are followed.  So long as the medications are taken orally with or at meal times, there will be no additional fees.  Injectables, eye, ear, wound care or other involved treatment may be billable.  Please contact us so we can understand your need.

 

Hours of operation:

We are open 365 days a year.  Our hours for drop-off, pick-up or visitation (for our long term boarders) are by appointment only between 7:30 AM and 7:00 PM weekdays and Saturdays; Sundays and holidays between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

 

Specifics:

When you call or place reservations on-line, you will need to tell us the date and time for drop off and the date you will be picking up your friend.   Additionally, we require a phone number(s) where we can reach you should any problems or questions arise prior to drop-off.  We promise to do our best to accommodate changes to your schedule and respectfully ask that you keep us notified as far in advance as possible.  We also admit that there could be instances that we will not be able to make new arrangements to fit your change in plans and ask for your understanding.  Also, when placing a reservation, we will need to know the number of pets we will be caring for and the number of runs when and where appropriate.
